Firemen, policemen and rescue workers at the scene of the recent air mishap, where a Swissair Caravelle plane crashed five minutes after it took off from Zurich's Kloten Airport, to become the first major disaster in Swissair's 32-year history. All 80 passengers and crew members were killed. Eye-witnesses said the plane caught fire and exploded in the air over the tiny village, with parts of the wreckage hitting the house at background on the left.
Bits of human bodies from the size of a finger to the full palm of a hand lay scattered around the peaceful meadows around smoking remnants of the aircraft's fuselage.
The passengers came from Israel, Belgium, the UAR, the US and Britain.
