Scope and content
The Zimbabwe African People's Union established this camp for mother with little children from Southern Rhodesia in Zambia. ZAPU cares also for their health: a physician regularly examines them. But also here, outside Southern Rhodesia, they are not same from Smith's terror. The Smith regime's latest and so far heaviest assault on Zambia took place on March 6th, 1978.
Initiated by the UN, the International Anti-Apartheid Year begins on March 21st, 1978. Various actions are to contribute to the isolation of the South African apartheid regime and to support the peoples still oppressed in the South of Africa.
