Scope and content

"Young Commonwealth Artists' Exhibition in London"
The painting "Waiting Men" by art student Dora Orphanou of Cyprus (extreme left) stimulates comments from two of her friends, Bill Owusu from Ghana and Charlotte Baissac, 22, from Mauritious, as they toured the 1961 Exhibition by Young Commonwealth Artists at the R.B.A. Galleries in London.
Dora is now studying at St. Martin's School of Art in London, with Charlotte, while Bill Owusu, a potter, is now in his final year of study at the Central School of Arts and Crafts, London.
