Scope and content

The United Nations Security Council has reproved Britain for the attack on the Harib Fort in the Yemen by planes of the R. A. F. as retaliation for the continued Yemeni attacks on the South Arabian Federation. Leaflets were dropped informing the occupants before the raid, and although the fort is in a completely isolated area the Yemenis claim that 25 people were killed.

Photo shows: An official photograph showing the Harib Fort before the R. A. F. attack. To the left are anti-aircraft guns and an anti-tank gun. It can be seen that the area is in isolated country with no dwellings in the vicinity.
