Tanker breaks in two: all crew rescued.
All members of the crew have been rescued from the "World Concord", the big tanker of over 20,000 tons, which broke in two during the heavy gale in the Irish Sea, off the west coast of England. Both halves remained afloat with 35 men on the forepart. Lifeboats and rescue vessels have since succeeded in taking off both parties, and efforts are now being made to tow the two halves of the tanker into port.
