There is now little hope that the veteran battleship "WARSPITE", fast on the rocks in Prussia Cove, on the Cornish coast, will ever be refloated. The 31,000-ton vessel, sea heroine of two wars, broke her tow when on her way north from Portsmouth to the beaker's yard. Now, holed badly by the bows, she rests on the jagged Cornish rocks, perhaps until time and the relentless pounding of the seas destroy her.
