A watcher, W. Paul Perera of Kelaniya, was found dead this morning under these sand bags which form a part of the 600-ton test platform at the CTO., building site. Perera was the night watchmen.
When the workmen reported to work in the morning the watcher's cycle was in the premise, but the man was missing.
On the instructions of the authorities at the premises a search was immediately made. They looked all over but there was no sign of him.
Ultimately, they found him buried under some of the sand bags which had collapsed from the test platform.
