The United States will launch three Astronauts to fly around the moon on December 21, 1968, from Cape Kennedy, Florida.
The Apollo-8 Astronauts Frank Borman, James A. Lovell, Jr., and William A. Anders, if all goes according to schedule, will have travelled much farther from earth than men have ever travelled and will have seen sights no human eyes have ever seen.
