Here is a view of the blazing 10,788-ton Swedish oil tanker, Johannishur, which exploded in a pillar of fire after colliding with 7,256-ton Panamian tanker, Buccaneer, in the English Channel last Thursday. The 41 men and a woman who were on board the Johannishur leapt for their lives as a 10-foot high wall of flames swept across the waves. Many died in the blazing sea.
