Scope and content
Sigvard Count Bernadotte of Wisborg (a son of King Gustav Adolf VI of Sweden) has invented a coffee pot lid which doesn't drop down on pouring. The lid has an invisible winding gear which prevents it from falling, and the design has proved that utility and beauty of shape can be easily incorporated. Count Bernadotte (left), demonstrates his coffee-pot lid to Philip Rosenthal, at the Frankfurt Autumn Fair.
