When M. Bresse, a pilot from the Caen Aero Club in France went for a flip in the Piper-Club he did not imagine he would stay "up in the cloud" for so long as this. The unlucky pilot was stuck up the tree for some seven hours before the firemen of Caen, with the air of some long ladders, were able to get him down. The pilot was uninjured in his branch-landing in the oak trees of the nearby forest, though there was a danger that the strong winds might have turned the little aircraft over.
