(Top) The Cicada (Nandasara) beating Games Court, Ramfet and Mahal Trust in the Lindula Plate at the Nuwara Eliya races last Saturday. (Second) Mahbub Hamid (Tyrell) winning the Maragastota Plate (Div. I) from Mohan's Pet, Happy Baby (hidden on the rails) and Alam al Ansar. (Third) Sa'ad Hussain (Irwin) romping home an easy winner in the second division of the Maragastota Plate. Falada (on the outside) was second, Amru al Qays (in the middle) was third and the newcomer Mansur Ruz (on the rails) fourth. (Bottom) Skelbo Star (Burkhardt) easily winning the Kotagala Plate from Pearl of the East, Good Sailor (on the outside) and Exford.
