Twenty-six-year-old Mrs. Marie-Laurie Lambert from Geneva — was killed and her husband 30 year old Claude Lambert was injured when they crashed in the side-car event of the T.T. races at Douglas, I.O.M., held recently.
Mrs. Lambert was given a license to race side-car with her husband last year. It is believed that the steering failed — causing them to crash at 100 m.p.h.
