Scope and content

"Visitor Last Week — Mrs. Moller of the Maersk Line..."
In Colombo last week was Mrs. A Maersk Moller grand-daughter of the man who started the now famous Maersk Line which has a fleet of 75 ships.
Mrs. Moller who left Ceylon by K. L. M. plane said she too owned a share in the business. After a three week holiday here she said she was absolutely fascinated by the trees and flowers and the colourful country.
Every member of the Maersk family had a ship with their name. In Mrs. Moller's case the ship named after her met with disaster and she is now hoping that a new vessel will be named after her. The Maersk Line has its own ship-building yards in Denmark.
