Mr. P. B. Kinigama, Assistant Commissioner of Co-operative Development (Extension), returned to the island recently after a study-tour abroad and six months' training in co-operative education and extension work in Canada and Japan, and has resumed duties at Polgolla.
Mr. Kinigama, was one of the lecturers at the School and Co-operative, Polgolla, and was appointed Assistant Commissioner in charge of the newly formed extension division of the department.
He was responsible for drafting the employees' training and membership education schemes of the department.
