One of Queensland University's most popular overseas students, Mr. Daniel David, of 10 Modera Street, Mutwal, Colombo, will sail for home this month, aboard the liner FAIRSKY, after a round of farewells by his Australian friends. Mr. David graduated in July, with his Diploma in Social Studies, after five years work. He was an outstanding leader of the overseas student community of 800 in Queensland and was an executive officer of a large number of organisations and associations.
Mr. Daniel David of 10 Modera Street, Mutwal, Colombo, who will be arriving home in the liner Fairsky this month is presented with an inscribed silver cup on behalf of the Overseas Student Association of Queensland by the Association secretary, Mr. Manoharan Lal of Fiji (centre) and Mr. Umar Jachja of Indonesia, Association president.
