Around—the—world cyclist from Bihaar who had cycled 127,000 miles since April 4th 1952 and travelled to 99 countries including the UK, US, Europe, the USSR, Africa, Japan, China and Australia was in Sri Lanka for the second time on his way to Mauritius and Thailand. From Thailand he will go back to India to complete his book "Ananthe Ki Orr" (Towards Infinity) which is about his travels. He was first in Sri lanka in 1958 and then again in 1976 (when the picture was captured).

Jaiswal (40) was twice married and a father of three children—a daughter and two sons.
