Martyn Boswell was assistant to the Queen's milliner until he was called up to do his national service as an education sergeant at Carlisle's Army Apprentices School recently. It's a far cry from the exclusive Mayfair shop where he worked in civilian life as assistant to Aage Thaarup, the Queen's milliner. But 23-year-old Martyn is not letting army life make him lose his touch. He still finds time to do odd designing jobs. Martyn is seen sitting on his camp bed in his army billet putting the final touches on a bride's headdress. He comes from Farnham, Surrey --(Keystone).
