A laborer named T.P Edwin who was painting the building of Mody & Co. at the Skinner's Road North Jampettah Street junction was killed on the spot when this lorry crashed into the building after being in a collision with a taxi yesterday evening. A 12-year old boy who was on the pavement was pinned against the wall of the building by the lorry. He was extricated and taken to the general Hospital, Colombo with serious injuries. The taxi-driver and two others were also admitted to the hospital with serious injuries.
