This 3-cwt lorry ended on its side today in an shanty-like structure whose tenant had luckily abandoned it a few days ago. The lorry coming towards Colombo on the Galle Road, hit the unlit bollard opposite St. Mary's Church, Dehiwala and ploughed into the abandoned shoe establishment in a welter of old shoes. The driver and another occupant escaped unhurt.
