The plans and estimates for religious buildings proposed to be built in Seruwila sacred city was handed over to the patrons by the Minister of Industries and Scientific Affairs, Mr. Cyril Matthew. Mr. Vincent Perera, the owner of 'Thaksala', Kohuwala is accepting plans from the minister to build 12 meditation cabins at his own expense. the chief monk of Seruwila Raja Maha Vihara, Dambagasare Sumedhalankara theor is also seen here.
