"Gemini Teams" -- The "prime"and "backup" teams for the first Gemini manned flight pose in their space suits at the U.S. Manned Spacecraft Center in Houston, Texas. Virgil Grissom (lower left) and John Young (lower right) were named to pilot the three-orbit mission. Walter Schirra (upper left) and Thomas Stafford (upper right) are the substitute pilots. The launching, from Cape Kennedy, Florida, is expected in late 1964 or early 1965.
