First Saturn V flight crew: members of the crew for the second manned Apollo flight and the first to use the powerful Saturn V rocket, are from left: David Scott, James McDivitt & Russel Schweickart. The launch is scheduled for December from Cape Kennedy. Astronaut McDivitt will be the command pilot for the 10-day earth-orbital trip. The Saturn V will be the launch vehicle for later manned flights to the moon. At centre is a model of the Apollo spacecraft.
