David Parkhouse, Examiner of the Royal Schools of Music London, gives a recital at the Ladies' College Hall at 6.30 p.m. on Saturday. He will play the Italian Concerto of Bach, the Brahms - Paganini Variations (both books) and pieces by Lenox Berkeley, Debussy and Chopin.

Mr. Parkhouse studied at the Royal College of Music with Herbert Fryer and Lance Dossor, and in 1948 won the highest prize for piano playing, the Chappel Gold Medal. Later, in 1953, he won the Boise Foundation Award and in 1954 the Queen's Prize.

Mr. Parkhouse broadcasts frequently on the air and television, in concertos, solo recitals, and chamber music. Touring extensively throughout the British Isles as a soloist, he has also given lecture-recitals with his wife, Eileen Croxford, who is equally talented as a cellist.
