Scope and content
New pictures from the southern front.
Abyssinian troops massed at Harar, are leaving the southern citadel for Jijiga to combat the expected Italian advance on the southern front. It is believed that a decisive battle will be fought in the south as soon as Marshal Badoglio's war "speed-up" comes into operation, for, unless the Italians capture Harar and Jijiga within a few months, the rains will prevent all military operations.
Photo by staff photographer shows: A camel train leaving Harar by the Jijiga road with ammunition and supplies.
