This private coach which was proceeding to Matara with a full complement of passengers ran off the road and crashed against a coconut tree at Waskaduwa Kalutara on Sunday Morning. According to the Kalutara North Police one person died on the spot. The passengers who were injured were rushed off to the Kalutara District hospital, The conductor who was one of them died on admission. The driver of the coach was also admitted to the hospital with serious injuries.
