This dramatic picture was taken in the little town of Bruay-en-Artoia, near little, Northern France, where a walking competition was being held and the streets were crowded with spectators.
A two-year-old-boy left his mother and started crossing the road. A car was crossing the street at the moment and the baby was struck by the front of the car.
The baby's mother, another baby in her arms, is seen frantically running towards her little son, fortunately the child was only a little bruised.
