"Fast Bowler Knight for MCC Tour"
Essex fast bowler Barry Knight, on the England short-list during the recent Test series, has been chosen for the MCC side to tour India, Pakistan and Ceylon this winter.
The side, of 16 players, is headed by Ted Dexter, the Sussex captain and England all-rounder, and includes nine England players. The tour manager is Mr. T. N. Pearce, the former Essex captain.
Knight made his debut in 1955, won his County cap in 1959.
His best bowling analysts is 7–68 against Glamorgan in 1959.
