Scope and content

His great-grandfather is a king; his mother is a princess; but he is not destined for a royal future. Because, of course, Princess Margaretha of Sweden gave up her rights to the throne by marrying a commoner, London businessman Mr. John Ambler.
Great-grandfather King Gustav went to the village church at Winslow, Buckinghamshire, last week to be four-moth-old Master Charles Edward Ambler's godfather, too. The other godparents include Crown Prince Carl Gustav, Princess Benedikte and Sir Thomas Pilkington.
The service was conducted by the Rev. Sven Evander, first pastor to the Swedish community in London. princess Margaretha, 31 and Mr. Ambler, 41, also have an 18-month-old daughter, Sibylla.
