America's Anthony Quinn, who is finishing shooting on "The Savage Innocents" at Pinewood, has a corridor chat with Britain's Peter Finch, dressed for his role in "Kidnapped".
"The Savage Innocents" is a love story set against the background of a clash between the primitive world of the Eskimos and modern civilisation. Anthony Quinn plays an Eskimo hunter whose brief contact with civilisation ends in disaster. Yoko Tani is his wife. It was shot in Canada within the Arctic Circle, in Technicolor and Technirama 70 - a technique best suited to capture the spectacle of the polar wastes - and directed by Nicholas Ray.
