The nine French miners all rescued after being trapped 270 ft underground for eight days, have all made a remarkable recovery fro their ordeal. All were taken to hospital after being rescued but have now been allowed to return to their families.
PHOTO SHOWS: Andre Martinet, the 44 year old foreman of the nine trapped men talking with reporters after his return home. Martinet insisted on being the last man to be rescued.
