Scope and content

"Happy Reunion" -- U.S. "space walker" astronaut Edwin "Buzz" Aldrin holds his youngest son, Andrew, as Mrs. Aldrin and daughter Janice wait their turn. The photo was taken in November 1966 upon Aldrin's return from the Gemini-12 space flight in which he became one of the few men ever to "walk" in space. He will be the lunar module pilot on the forthcoming (July 1969) flight of Apollo-11, and is expected to walk on the moon.
