This Commission was appointed on 9.1.1950 by the Governor -General inquire and report on the functions of the Fiscal’s Department. The commission was requested to recommend suitable amendments to Fiscal Law and procedure, and to report on the operation of the organisation and methods system of the department and to submit a manual of procedure for the administrative efficiency of the department. The commissioners were G.C.Thambyah (commissioner) G.U.Sinnathamby(Secretary)
