Under the War Risks (Goods) insurance Ordinance NO.1 of 1942, Governor appointed the Commissioner of War Risks Insurance, to function under the direction and control of tile Executive Committee of Labour, Industry and Commerce. The Commissioner also carried out two schemes for War Risks and War Damages. Under the War Risks (Goods) Insurance Ordinance no 1 of 1942 and the War Damage (Business and Personal Movable). The War Damage Scheme was designed to give protection against losses arising from the occurrence of War Risks. The Draft Ordinance for War Risks was dated 24.01.1942. The War Damage Scheme came in to effect on 15.04.1942.
